The 180 Degree Rule

The 180 degree rule would be where you would chose the line of action and film only one side of that line. You can not cross the line at anytime unless their is an obvious explanation for it. If you cross the line it can confuse the audience and can look like they are communicating to themselves on screen. We have used the 180 degree rule in our video meaning that we have stayed shooting from one side so that it doesn't confuse the audience.
