Sound Homework By Ruby and Ellie

The clip we have chosen is called the day after tomorrow. We have used sounds off garageband to create and set the scene within this short clip. We also downloaded a piece on un-copywrited music off Jamendo. This is called Aftermath.

When creating this short clip we used a number of sounds off garage band to re-create the sound within the short clip. Garageband has thousands of sounds already on it. So we searched for the sound we wanted. We found that more basic the word was the more there was to chose from. Although garageband is good for some sounds it's not very good for others. For example in this clip there is a sound we chose to re-create the noise of a large group of people screaming and shouting. Unfortunately the closest thing we could find was an 'angry crowd'.  If we were to do this again we would search on other sites or programmes to fond a more suitable noise.
